Where do the tours start?
Every bike tour starts at our shop at 7740 Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood, and every hike starts inside Griffith Park, about 25 minutes away. Walking tours meet at the point in your confirmation.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
Yes. Every guest signs a waiver before departure, and a parent or legal guardian signs for anyone under 18.
Can kids come on a tour?
Yes. Guests 6 to 96 are welcome and hikes are for ages 6 and up with no strollers, while bike tours have kids' 24 inch bikes for riders about 51 to 62 inches tall, a Tag Along for ages 5 to 8, a trailer for two small children up to 100 pounds and a child seat for a child up to 50 pounds.
Can I ride an e bike?
Yes. The LA in a Day, Beverly Hills and Hollywood Sign Bike Tours all have an e bike option, and e bikes are for guests 4'9" (1.45 m) and taller.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel or change no later than 24 hours before your tour for a full refund or to reschedule. After that you get a guaranteed credit, and you can transfer your booking to someone else.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Tours usually run in light rain. If severe or unsafe weather cancels a tour, we contact you to reschedule.
Is lunch included on the LA in a Day Tour?
Lunch is not included. The tour stops at the beach, where lunch at our partner spot is about $10.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes. If you have a group of more than 6 people, email info@bikeshikes.com for group pricing.
