The Valley isn't one neighborhood, it's about thirty. Pacoima builds different from Encino, which builds different from Northridge, which builds different from Studio City. The lots are different sizes, the soil is different, the HOAs care about different things, and the city plan check moves at different speeds depending on which office your project lands in.
Most of our SFV work falls into three buckets. ADU construction, which has exploded since the city sped up permitting, is now about a third of our project pipeline. Full home remodels, especially on mid century homes between 1,200 and 2,400 square feet, are another third. The remaining third is a mix of custom homes on infill lots, second story additions, and commercial build outs along the Valley's east-west boulevards.
We also handle the parts most contractors hate. The HPOZ filings if you're in Studio City. The historic preservation paperwork if you bought a 1940s in Sherman Oaks. The retroactive code upgrades that always come up when you open a wall on a 1950s house. We've already done it.
